Later that evening ...

David and I had a decent game tonight.  We shot 68 and change, but should have easily shot 70.  I had one ugly moment when I turned a trick wrong and consequently failed to cash the setting trick against 3NT but aside from that (the mistake cost 37.5% of a board) I played pretty well.  Our one zero was again courtesy of my friend Joanie (we were in 1 Spade making 1, thinking it was a good spot, but everyone else was +90 or +100), so I gave her the Mexican plate I won for finishing 1st.
