Had a crazy 15 board set with Jeff on Saturday (22nd) and since I'm a few days behind in my posts, I'll pick a few of the more interesting hands from that set to catch up.
Unfavorable 2nd

Pass to you.
I kibitzed local Platinum Life Master George Pisk at the Sectional on Friday and he opens just about every AAK hand, which is the modern style for a lot of players. But I'm not sold on that practice yet. Give me a couple of tens and AK in my 5 card suit and maybe we'll talk. I passed.
Jeff opened 1 Diamond in 4th. I bid 1 Heart. He bid 2 Clubs.
Now what?
I've got the values for 2NT but no Spade stopper. Is that what 4th suit shows by a passed hand or would it show a huge hand for Clubs (similar to 1H - 1N - 2C - 2S)? I'm not sure and my preference is always to make a mildly flawed unambiguous bid to a seemingly correct if partner is miraculously on the same wavelength but totally ambiguous bid. I made the strange-looking raise to 3 Clubs.
I didn't consider the false-preference to 2 Diamonds because it doesn't suggest an 11 count and Jeff could be 5-4 in the minors either way, so we could end up in a 4-2 fit.
Jeff bid 3NT passed around to my Lefty, who whipped.
Lefty held:
A74 / KQT4 / 95 / J986
I'd kibitzed Tobi Sokolow at the Sectional on Thursday and she'd made a similar double with QJ98 of Hearts and the AK of Spades. It worked out better for her than it did for my LHO.
His partner obediently led the 7 of Hearts and Jeff turned his 9 top tricks into 10 when the defense slipped at trick 2.
983 / A9843 / K8 / A73
QJ6 / J / AQJ76 / KQ54
+950 was worth 9 IMPs and change. Maybe I should have sent it back.
