You open 1 Club. Pard bids 1 Heart. You rebid 2 Clubs. Pard bids 2 Diamonds. Righty now roars to life and bids 2 Spades. You pass. Partner now bids 3 Diamonds. Your call.
I went into the tank and decided that 5 Diamonds needed too much. Peter shows at least an invitational hand but he can't have a huge hand, can he? With a ton of values I think he'd balance back in with 3 Spades and then bid more Diamonds. I passed.
Invitational? Ummm, not so much.

Peter made 3 Diamonds on the nose and we were off and running. Win 5 and a half.

Righty opens 1 Spade. You double. Lefty bids 4 Spades. Pard bids 5 Hearts. Righty bids 5 Spades.
I couldn't bring myself to double with this piece of cheese (especially with the 5th Heart.) At these colors maybe this auction is forcing in theory, but I was pretty sure that Peter wouldn't see it this way. If you whip, you turn +50 into +100 and gain an IMP and change. (Not really much of a problem, but I wanted to include one I got 'wrong.')

You open 1 Spade. Pard bids 2NT (Jacoby.) You bid 3 Diamonds (shortness.) Pard bids 4 Spades (fast arrival.)
I made the moderate overbid of 5 Hearts here. I figured it was overwhelmingly likely that we'd be safe at the 5 level. Lucky for me, Peter had underbid his hand, apparently feeling guilty about having only 3 Spades (and not loving his minor wasteage in Diamonds.)

+1430 was worth almost 10 IMPs

You open 1NT. Pard bids 2 Hearts (Jacoby.) You bid 2 Spades. Pard bids 4 Spades (slam try?) You play Texas.
Okay, even if this is a slam try you don't have anything resembling an accept really. I just included this hand because it's kind of funny.

Before dummy tracks, but after I've passed:
'yes, we play texas, peter'
'but I guess you're safe here as passed hand'
edit - typo correctedThe response, after dummy tracks:
'promises 6'
Ah.
A lucky +450 was win 5 and change.

Lefty tanks and opens 1 Club. Pard bids 1 Heart. Righty passes.

I'm not sure what's right with this but I bid 1NT. Float. Good spot. Diamonds is a little better though.

Hearts were 5-1 offside, so passing 1 Heart risks -100, but you'll probably get a 2nd chance.
+90 was win most of an IMP.

Lefty opens 2 Spades in 3rd. Pard bids 4 Hearts.
This was the last board. Can pard have x / AKQxxxx / xxx / AK? Not quite a perfecta, but I think too much to hope for. If my Queen of Spades were anywhere else, I think I'd make a try. I passed.
Peter was a bare (or perhaps slightly sub-) minimum.

Unlucky for us, 5 Hearts also makes (Club King onside) so we didn't win as many IMPs as we might have (4 pairs in 5 Hearts making.)
+650 was win 2 and a quarter.
