The Senate voted tonight to make it legal for the Bush administration to spy on Americans without a warrant. 16 Democrats disgustingly voted with the Republicans to disregard the constitution and the principles our great nation was founded on in order to appease Dubya's temper tantrum. I thought I'd seen everything, but this might be the last straw ... Anyway, I fired off this email to Senator Reid:
Dear Senator Reid,

I've been patient with you spineless congressional Democrats since the election in November but my patience has run out. You refused to defund the escalation of US forces being deployed to occupy Iraq. Now you're giving the most corrupt, deceptive, partisan and incompetent administration in history unprecedented and unconstitutional authority.
If you don't grow a pair and stand up to the alcoholic war criminal in the White House and his psychopathic fascist lackeys by upholding your oath to preserve, protect and defend our great constitution, I will gladly move back to Nevada just so I can have the pleasure of voting against you.
If you don't know what motivated this message, either watch Keith Olbermann or ask Senator Feingold. Either of those gentlemen is far more articulate on the subject than I could ever hope to be.
