Jeff and Izzy are headed to Winnipeg to play in the CNTC and CWTC, respectively.  Good luck to them.

The Democrats defied the will of the American people and funded another 6 months of the immoral and counterproductive U.S. involvement in the Iraq civil war.  I'm disgusted with the spinelessness of the Democratic party.  Unfortunately, they're the only remotely viable alternative at this point.

My health kick continues.  I'm stuck at 180 lbs, but at 6'2 that's still okay.  And since the 180 lbs is slowly being transformed from flab to fab, I shouldn't complain (my goal in December (at 198 lbs) was 170 lbs, my weight in my early 20's.)  My heaviest was 215 lbs back in 2000/2001.  At the time I wanted to bulk up, build muscle and worry about losing fat later.  But now I just want to be lean and if I have to sacrifice a little beefcake, so be it.  Today was cardio.  I used to do an hour, but 48 minutes is what I usually shoot for now.

I saw another great movie this week, Little Children.  I hated that chick Kate Winslet in Titanic, but she's great in this.

Senators/Ducks clash starting on Monday.  I'm used to saying Go Ducks! (I went to the University of Oregon my Junior Year) but not this time.

Adam's off to Seattle next month.  He will be missed.  Bon Voyage Adam.

More crappy weather in Austin recently.  The fog rolled in today.  It's frustrating to be missing out on the usually nice weather before the gates of Hades open for the summer.

A la prochaine fois.
