Moving on to the Bad

Same set with Bruce, you pick up a boring hand:
K97542 / KJ9732 / 5 / -
Not only that, but you're in 3rd seat at favorable and it goes pass, 1 Heart to you.
In my younger days I'd blast 4 Spades, and it might even be the best percentage bid in the long run, but when it's wrong, it can be VERY wrong. Other possibilities include psyching 1N or 2N, but as I was a) sober and b) interested in playing with my pard again at a future date, I contented myself with 1 Spade.
LHO doubled, and Bruce bid 4 Spades in tempo. RHO broke tempo and bid 5 Clubs.
Wow. 6 Spades could be cold our way with a 7 count opposite a passed hand. But I contented myself with a 5 Spade bid, hoping to get doubled, and planning to bid 6 Spades over 6 Clubs as a cheap save and possible make.
Righty obliged me and doubled me (I'd have sent it back if I knew for sure they'd leave me there) and lefty led the 6 of hearts.
A somewhat surprising and disappointing dummy tracked:
AJ83 / - / J4 / QJ96532
What's he doing with all those clubs?
Over to you ...
The key to the hand (as it often is) is visualizing the opponents' hands. It looked to me like trying to set up the clubs was hopeless for lack of entries. But RHO had AKxx and LHO Tx and if you play for that, you're home with an overtrick (if you play a low club off the board, RHO doesn't pop (because his pard would have presumably led a stiff club) so you've got to work all this out on your own.
I pitched a diamond at trick 1, never set up the clubs, and instead of making 6, I wound up down 1. It's a tough hand, hence bad, not ugly, but still not my finest hour.
LHO Held:
QT / 65 / KT87632 / T4
RHO Held:
6 / AQT84 / AQ9 / AK87
