Hi and welcome to my blog.

I might as well kick this off by telling you a little about me.  I'm 36.  I live in Austin.  I play bridge on BBO.  I've played most of my life, but just barely (learned at 17, started playing a lot at 20.)  

I love politics, am currently on a fitness/nutrition kick (so far, so good,) have a low-brow sense of humor, and an innate and highly developed ability to get under people's skin. 

On politics, I loathe the Bush Administration and the 21st century version of the Republican party and what they've done to America, but at this point this isn't intended to be a political blog, so that's all I plan to say about that. 

I'm outspoken, blunt, direct, etc.  Not a fan of small talk.  Not a good bullshit artist.

So why this blog?  Well, they say that the best way to get better at bridge is to play for money.  I'm sure that's true, but perhaps the 2nd best way is to publish your boneheaded plays for all to see.  And I make too many boneheaded plays.   I also like to give people hands and ask them to assign blame.  So I'll be doing some of that.
